CINCINNATI — Former Reds pitcher Jakob Junis is signing a one-year, $4.5 million deal with the Cleveland Guardians according to ESPN's Kiley McDaniel. The Reds acquired Junis last July from the Brewers when they sent Frankie Montas to Milwaukee.

Cleveland’s 40-man roster is at capacity, though they can create a spot by placing any of Shane Bieber , David Fry or Sam Hentges on the 60-day injured list.
