The crash closed down westbound lanes as first responders cleared the wreckage. Both vehicles were totaled in the crash.

Officials say that Everett Carter, age 61, was working to remove snow Sunday in the Blue Summit area of the county, when he stepped out of his truck and it started sliding and struck him.
