Shane van Gisbergen is on the pole for The Loop 110 NASCAR Xfinity Series race on July 5 at the Chicago street course. SVG, making his first Xfinity start of the season, qualified early in the first group and posted a lap of 1:30.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series returns to the Windy City on Saturday for The Loop 110 and the only street race on the season calendar.

This year, the increasing intensity of the battle for the NASCAR playoffs takes center stage in Second City, as only four open spots for non-winners now remain on the playoff grid.
