Costco has issued a recall for its popular Butter Croissants sold in the bakery section because they may be contaminated with foreign material. On Nov. 9, Costco announced that a select batch of Butter Croissants was recalled because the salt used to make the croissants was found to be contaminated with foreign matter.

Costco’s bakery is one of the most popular departments in the store. The store’s butter croissants are a fan favorite, too, but a notice sent to Costco members who purchased them recently indicates that they’ve been recalled.
