Thousands of Rhode Islanders were dealing with the aftermath of Thursday's severe storms well into the weekend.

Cornett estimated there was probably about 30,000 customers without power. The height was about 60,000. As of 10 p.m., the Rhode Island Energy outage map showed 12,546.

Customers reported issues with the company's online tracker and with reporting power outages through a texting system.
