The Mesopotamia Ox Roast is back for its 51st year in Trumbull County. The annual Ox Roast started 50 years ago, as a way to help raise money for the Mesopotamia Volunteer Fire Department.

It’ll take right around 708 hours to cook,” said Mesopotamia Township Fire Chief Jamie Loza. All the money raised from the Ox Roast goes directly to the township’s fire department.
