Auburn sophomore tight end Micah Riley is reportedly entering the transfer portal following another disappointing season on the Plains. The Omaha, NE native played sparingly during his time with the Tigers, catching just three passes in two seasons during his career.

Auburn redshirt sophomore tight end Micah Riley plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal he tells Auburn Live. Riley had 3 catches for 43 yards and 2 touchdowns in his Auburn career. He was the No. 26 tight end in the country as a recruit according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

Along with Riley entering the portal, Auburn will lose tight ends Luke Deal and Rivaldo Fairweather who are out of eligibility. Senior tight end Brandon Frazier is expected to return in 2025 after suffering a season-ending foot injury in 2024 and sophomore tight end Rico Walker also remains on the roster.
