Michele Buck (pictured below), president and CEO of chocolate maker Hershey Co., will assume leadership of the U.S. confection business as Michael Del Pozzo is leaving the role Dec. 12 after three months on the job.

Michael Del Pozzo will depart his role as president, U.S. Confection, for Hershey and return to PepsiCo to fill an undisclosed role.

Hershey said Del Pozzo will depart this week, with President and CEO Michele Buck assuming oversight of the business while the Hershey, Pa., company works to identify a successor.

The maker of Kisses and Reese’s said CEO Michele Buck will oversee the business on an interim basis while the company searches for a replacement.
