Suspect in UnitedHealthcare CEO murder fights extradition to New York
Luigi Mangione was charged with murder last night in New York in the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, who was shot and killed in the city last Wednesday. Mangione was denied bail today in Pennsylvania and is fighting extradition to New York.
"The net is tightening," New York City Mayor Eric Adams told reporters at a Police Athletic League holiday party in Harlem.
