SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Weather conditions forecast for the Sacramento region are changing back to a wet and active series of storms bringing rain and snow. It's been a long break in the action from the Atmospheric River storms more than a week ago with dry and cold weather since then.

A system Wednesday night will bring a soaking rain to all of Northern California, although its meager totals and relatively light winds will fall short of qualifying as a full blown storm. Less than 48 hours later,

Wednesday will bring another foggy morning for Northern California. Later in the night, people may start seeing some wet weather.
