Scottie Scheffler is once again out in front. The top-ranked golfer in the world nearly matched the course record Friday while posting a 7-under 64 at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland. That gave him a one-shot lead over Matt Fitzpatrick and the rest of the field at the midway point of the British Open.
