Stoneham police investigate an armed home invasion; two suspects demanded money and fled with cash and valuables.

Police are investigating an armed home invasion that occurred on Thanksgiving morning in Stoneham, Massachusetts. Stoneham officers were dispatched to a reported home invasion around 5:30 a.m. Thursday at an apartment complex on Fallon Road.

Police said armed suspects went in through an unlocked door and then stormed into a bedroom where a man and woman were sleeping.

Cash and other valuables were stolen in an armed robbery in an apartment on Fallon Road in Stoneham, police said.

Officers were dispatched to 95 North Washington St. where a vehicle ran off the roadway and into a telephone pole and a tree.
