The holiday season has officially begun.The City of Abilene is kicking of December with its annual City Hall-idays event Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.RELATED | Holiday events around the Big Country, Concho ValleyThe event begins with holiday themed music at Abilene City Hall with performances by AISD Revolution Strings and Abilene Community Band.

The residents of Abilene are invited to attend the city's biggest holiday celebrations happening Tuesday evening. The city will have its annual tree lighting ceremony, the Fox West Texas Christmas Lights Parade and many more activities with local businesses in downtown Abilene.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Luzerne County Courthouse. A tree-lighting ceremony was held at the courthouse Monday evening. Luzerne County Manager Romilda Crocamo gave the opening remarks.
