Barclays, one of the world's largest banks and the second largest bank in England, reported issues Friday with its mobile app, online banking services and customer accounts as thousands of people reported problems accessing their financial information.

On Downdetector, there are currently more than 1,200 reports of the Barclays banking services being down. With 55% reporting issues with mobile banking, 37% with online banking and 8% with bill pay.
Barclays outage affecting payments and online banking
Barclays bank has confirmed it is experiencing IT problems which it says is affecting its app, online banking and payments in and out of accounts. The bank says it is also unable to provide help via telephone or its "Message us" service.

Barclays has issued an apology to customers after some complained about being unable to access their accounts. Account holders reported being unable to sign into their accounts online or via the mobile app on Friday.
