In the 100 meters Lyles won the gold medal at the 2024 Olympic Games. As you may recall, Olympic champion Noah Lyles stirred up a bit of controversy a few months ago when he questioned why NFL and NBA players declare themselves "world champions" when their leagues are limited to the United States.

After the race, Speed did claim it was a draw before being shown proof he did in fact lose. Lyles even twisted the knife a little bit more by stating he started high-stepping after taking the lead towards the end. But even still, people on social media were very impressed with Speed’s effort and performance.
