From rain to a wintry mix to accumulating snow, New England is on track to get it all starting early Thanksgiving morning. Most models are pointing to the core of this low pressure slipping off the Mid-Atlantic coast and moving northeasterly into the Gulf of Maine,

Snow and rain are in the forecast for some parts of the U.S. as travelers hit the road and head to the airport for Thanksgiving.

The weather is shifting and bringing much-needed rain to the Tri-State Area. There may even be snow in parts of New York.

New Jersey will be wet and rainy, but the state will be spared the impacts of a major winter storm affecting the midwestern United States.
