Democratic New York Mayor Eric Adams told Daily Caller News Foundation co-founder Tucker Carlson during a podcast episode Tuesday that former President Joe Biden and his staff allegedly told him to “be a good Democrat” when it came to handling illegal migrants in the city.

Eric Adams revealed to podcast host Tucker Carlson that aides to former President Joe Biden told the New York mayor that he should just “be a good Democrat” over concerns about how illegal immigration was affecting the city.

Mayor Eric Adams said the Democratic Party has abandoned him – and everyday New Yorkers. “People often say, ‘Well, you know, you don’t sound like a Democrat and you seem to have left the party,’” Adams told host Tucker Carlson during an interview due to air Tuesday night.
