The Major League Baseball offseason has been filled with big-time players switching teams via trade or free agency. Some of the big moves include Juan Soto signing with the New York Mets, Corbin Burnes signing with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Blake Snell signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Pittsburgh Pirates continue making moves this offseason, including looking for players on other teams. Robert Murray of FanSided reported that

The Red Sox and Pirates have been frequent trade partners in the last year. Last July, the Sox sent infielder Nick Yorke to Pittsburgh in exchange for starting pitcher Quinn Priester. More recently, the Sox sent infielder Enmanuel Valdez to the Pirates in December and obtained reliever Joe Vogatsky.
