MYSURU: Even as the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) sites scam has hit headlines, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s extended family members are upset and accuse a larger conspiracy by BJP and JDS to unseat Siddaramaiah.

Bengaluru/IBNS: Karnataka Chief Minister has tampered with the evidence in the MUDA (Mysuru Urban Development Authority) scam in which the Congress leader is accused, a fresh complaint has alleged, media reports said.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his family face charges in a money laundering case linked to the MUDA land allotment, with the ED invoking sections of the PMLA. The Congress has decried the investigation as political harassment by the BJP-led central government.

In the complaint, the complainant, Pradeep Kumar SP, has also alleged the involvement of Siddaramaiah's wife B M Parvathi and son Yathindra Siddaramaiah in tampering with evidence in the MUDA land scam case.

Hours after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) booked Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on charges of money laundering, his wife, a co-accused in the alleged MUDA scam, surrendered the 14 Mysuru plots at the center of this storm.
