PHILADELPHIA - Britain Covey isn’t sure he’s going to make his return in Los Angeles but it would make sense. The Eagles officially placed Bryce Huff on injured reserve Friday after the edge rusher had surgery earlier in the week and ruled out receiver DeVonta Smith for Sunday night’s game against the Rams with a hamstring injury.

Covey started the season as the Eagles' primary punt returner and spent two months on injured reserve. His status for Sunday's game is uncertain after his practice window opened this week.

Britain Covey broke his arm and still stayed in the game in Week 3. After missing several weeks, Covey may finally be activated for Week 12.
