By Alan Baldwin IMOLA, Italy (Reuters) -Formula One leader Oscar Piastri kept calm under pressure to put McLaren on pole position for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix on Saturday with Red Bull's Max Verstappen joining the Australian on the front row.

With qualifying about to take place in Imola, McLaren CEO Zak Brown has tipped Max Verstappen as a potential candidate for pole position at the Italian track ahead of papaya drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

Verstappen is "not very" optimistic Red Bull will fare much better in Imola's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix than it did in Miami
