Oliver Hudson recalled a time when Kurt Russell, who has been in a relationship with Hudson's mother Goldie Hawn for four decades, asked Oliver and sister Kate Hudson if they would like him to adopt them.

Kate Hudson and her brother, Oliver Hudson, had no interest in having Kurt Russell adopt them when they were kids. During an episode of their “Sibling Revelry” podcast, Oliver revealed that Russell had offered to legally adopt them when he started dating their mother, Goldie Hawn, back in the 1980s.

The actor shared that he and his sister didn’t feel the need to be adopted by Hawn’s longtime partner because they felt “the love is right there.”
