In a recent update for MLB Network, Major League Baseball insider Jon Heyman revealed he had interviewed Tucker this past weekend and provided an update on the star's outlook on an extension with the Cubs.

However, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, Tucker doesn’t want to talk with the Cubs about a deal right now. He added that the team would likely give him an extension offer at some point, and he’d listen, but he didn’t want to talk to them before the summer approached.
