GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - While the bulk of businesses in the valley were closed yesterday, many liquor stores tell us they stay open for those last minute buys. But with big chain grocery stores also staying open, competition for your alcohol dollars is fierce.

Whether you want to get a start on your Black Friday shopping or need a last-minute item, these stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day in Des Moines.
