Atlanta Braves All-Star right fielder Ronald Acuna Jr. was scratched from Tuesday's lineup against the host Athletics due to lower back tightness. Meanwhile, the Athletics lost All-Star shortstop Jacob Wilson when the rookie was hit on the left wrist by a pitch in the bottom of the first inning.

That quest didn’t get off to a great start, as star outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. was a late scratch for the first game of the series on Tuesday night. The Braves called it a lower back injury that kept Acuna out of the game, according to a post from the team on social media.
