The NFL has made a major scheduling change, flexing Denver's upcoming game in December against the Chargers to Thursday Night Football.

Denver's Week 16 road matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers has been flexed to "Thursday Night Football" on Prime Video, the NFL announced Friday. The Broncos' matchup with the Chargers at SoFi Stadium was previously slated for 2:05 p.m. MT on FOX.

This uniform matchup will go against the recently unveiled Broncos’ new uniforms, which will show their Midnight Navy jerseys with their all-white helmets. It will be an interesting prime-time matchup with both of these teams coming off of confident victories.

Last week, the Broncos opened as 4.5-point favorites against the Raiders and Denver ended up winning by 10 points. The Browns were considered 3.5-point underdogs against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football last week. Cleveland ended up winning that game by five points.

Plus, rookie quarterback Bo Nix remains focused on the “next game [and] the next opponent” as he continues to earn accolades.

The NFL flexed the first Thursday Night Football by switching out Browns-Bengals in favor of Chargers-Broncos in Week 16.
