Biden announces Lebanon-Hezbollah cease-fire deal
President Joe Biden on Tuesday touted a cease-fire deal between Israel and the militant group Hezbollah after more than a year of fighting between the two sides. In the Rose Garden, Biden said he’d spoken with the leaders of Lebanon and Israel this afternoon and that both governments agreed to the cease-fire beginning at 4 a.m. local time tomorrow.
