Arsenal are reportedly set to end their pursuit of Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres. The 27-year-old enjoyed another barnstorming term in the Primeira Liga last season, netting 39 goals across 33 appearances.

Viktor Gyokeres has been linked with a move to Arsenal all summer, who are not giving up on a move for the Swede.

While Arsenal are frontrunners to sign Viktor Gyokeres, the Gunners have yet to agree a fee for the striker with Sporting CP, with Troy Deeney claiming the club are not convinced of the Swede's value
