I've build them, but when I put the Pygmy in they don't seem to accept how much water is there, instead acting like there's only a few inches of water space and so have extremely low welfare.

Nov 8, 2019 · Hippos and water areas... You have to be careful. If you make it TOO DEEP, it will count against water size for them. So I usually do one to two light "pushes", like I'm making a river and dragging it. Then I'll do a big round area with 4 to 5 taps on push and use 'flatten to ground' on that area. Hope that helps some.
