Nov 22, 2016 · I don't know why fans look at a Coyle/Burns comparison like there is any: as a rookie, he'd be cheap. Cleared cap space. For Parise/Suter. That was the point. Obviously San Jose won the trade as Brent Burns kept being Brent Burns, exacerbated as it became clear for years that the Wild didn't really want Seto/Heatley either.
