Oct 20, 2022 · Honestly, I kind of get it. The Muscle Devil thing always seemed like an odd diversion of the original story. It was mostly to accentuate how Denji misses and loves Pochita, but I think that was already pretty well established in the first chapters and first episode. Putting the devil there would be a bit of a pace-breaker.

Apr 8, 2023 · That's really the pinnacle of Fujimoto's panelling. Mappa is afraid to go into experimental direction with this show. They would just make a sequence of the gun devil killing everything and would leave out all the names and all the details about the gun devil's abilities. It's going to be super confusing for anime only's going forward.

May 17, 2022 · It's a good anime. A day to day life of Dante. To know what is he doing outside of the games. Besides that, its the reason why some of the people in the fandom (myself included) believed in the theory of Dante's depression, and its pretty reasonable, since the anime is between DMC1 and DMC2.
