Jan 10, 2025 · If you then go to Start, Memeo, Memeo Instant Backup, the backup should detect the NAS and start. You don't really need Seagate or Mimeo software on Windows 10. You can also use File History (under Control Panel) to do the backup if you can successfully map the NAS share to a network drive.

Nov 24, 2012 · When I go to Computer-Manage-Disk Management I see it as Disk 1, Unknown, not initialized Right click, disk 1 is ticked, click OK and I get "Incorrect function" When I look in Device Manager, it says that this device is working properly. We use 3 rather different laptops, the Go Flex is via wireless. On one laptop it works through the ''my computer'' option, where is shows in drives X, Y and Z. But on that same computer it won't work via the network or wifi or online options, just opens and stares at you, but won't let you do anything with the files.
